Description: This adorable and rare antique bisque head is marked AM 500 with DRGM. A closed mouth model with intaglio painted blue eyes and blonde painted hair. He so much resembles the dolls manufactured by the Gebruder Heubach company as the were known for intaglio eyes and this type of character face.the bisque head is free of chips, cracks or hairlines. He has a tiny white dot on his forehead and a mineral deposit in the porcelain on upper part of his nose. His simple painting is perfect! No cheek rubs! His original 5 piece baby body is pretty rustic, however, very common for these dolls. Again, same type of body as you might find on a similar Heubach doll. Dressed in a one piece romper which is appropriate but not original. Please look carefully at the photos and email any questions you may have.
