Gold accents including gold handles. No marks on the bottom of the cups.· 1 deeper-blue skies with white Cranes JAM JAR with LID. Marked on bottom with Mitsu-Boshi “Hand Painted Nippon” logo · 1 powder-blue skies with white Cranes SAUCER (for one cup). Marked on bottom “Hand Painted Nippon” and a logo - T.S. and another hard to make out marker, but also says, “Hand Painted Nippon”.· Note, If your piece is marked “Nippon,” then it was made and imported between 1891 and 1921. If it is marked “Japan” then the piece was made and imported after 1921.Nippon-stamped porcelain is among the most desired collectibles on the antique market and is more valued than those marked Japan. During the Nippon era, Japanese potters were trained to imitate European styles such as Limoges and R.S. Prussia.Condition: 5 pieces (2 cups, saucer, jam jar, lid) are in very nice condition with no paint loss. Due to their age, they have a few age spots as shown in the photos. Last 2 photos show one cup that has a tiny chip (gold missing) and a hair-line crack down the cup that does not go all the way through to the inside of the cup. PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS BEFORE BIDDING. They make a nice collection of 100 plus year old Nippon porcelain china. Nice detailed cranes and gold accents.
