Description: These are freshwater scuds or gammarus. Excellent scavenger that will hide in the gravel or substrate of your tanks and devour all fish food leftovers, it is a great live food for most fish species, livebearers love them, some will get away and eventually reproduce in the tanks, I would not recommend planted tanks that do not have any fish that will control their population, because then you will end up with thousands and the little fellas will start eating your plants. I feed my colony with algae wafers and pellets, if well fed and water is well oxygenated they reproduce like crazy. Here I am sending a colony starter of 25+ scuds, we usually send around 50 or more.
