Description: Listed for your consideration is a beautiful set of clear pink tumblers from the 1930s -- Depression Era. Each glass features an etched, flowing band with a 7-petaled flower and leaves that extend out to each side. The floral pattern appears twice around the top half of each glass and the leaves encircle the entire glass. Possibly the product of the Jeannette Glass Co. These tumblers are flared and conical, which means the tops are quite wide and the glass tapers as it goes down towards the footed base. They have a subtle, vertical paneling all the way around. The base is round, footed, also clear pink glass, with no etching or design. I have seen similar sized tumblers called iced tea glasses. It seems to me that iced tea glasses would be taller. These would make amazing juice or cocktail glasses, delicate, but firmly footed, not tipsy or top-heavy. They would also be great for serving a parfait, a sundae, some ice cream or sherbert. Measurements:5" high3-1/2" diameter2-3/4" base Pre-owned, in very good condition with no scratches, but one has a small chip to the rim. It's so small, I believe it could be ground or sanded down, but I will leave that up to the new owner to decide. No other damage. No scratches or utensil marks.
