Description: Handsome fold-out 1971 Prince Edward Island official road map and tourist guide, printed more than 50 years ago. This map opens to 18" x 33" and has great detail on old highway alignments. It also shows ferry and steamer routes and locates golf courses, beaches, and oyster farming areas. It was distributed through the Prince Edward Island Travel Bureau, Charlottetown, in 1971 and is dated on the cover. Condition: It is in very good, lightly used condition, bright and clean, with no rips or tears. A previous owner has written a few comments and made a few marks along the north shore, near Prince Edward Island National Park. Please see the scans and feel free to ask any questions. The map folds to 9¼" x 4½" and includes a photo of three ferries, part of a fleet that transported visitors to and from the island before the Confederation Bridge opened. Buy with confidence!
