Description: This is a 1940 GGIE/San Francisco World’s Fair Brochure. The 1939 Golden Gate Expo ran from Feb. 18, 1939-Oct. 29, 1939. They decided to reopen for the summer of 1940 under new management with some new attractions. It ran from May 25, 1940-Sept. 29, 1940. This brochure is promotes art, science, music, international cultures etc. The map, in the center of the brochure, is highlighting all the things to do in the west on your way to or from the Fair, like the Grand Canyon, Mt Rainier, Redwoods, Yosemite, Missions, etc. This brochure is in good condition for being 84 years old. There is a couple of small tears on the back cover(pics 13-14), and it looks like a sticker or something was peeled off the bottom left corner on the back cover(pic 12). Please look over the pictures and ask questions before bidding.
