Up for sale is a very nice antique children's book from 1922 titled: THE CHILDREN'S BIBLE, arranged and edited by Henry A. Sherman and Charles Foster Kent! This Christian book is beautifully illustrated. The publication date MCMXXII (1922) is found on the title page. This is the First Edition. I acquired this book from a private estate. I found if safely tucked away on a library bookshelf where it had been for decades. This book was gently handled over the years. CONDITION: This antique book is in very good condition, as evidenced by the photos. The front cover is decorated. The covers are in very good condition with some age-expected edge and corner wear. Also, a child drew a halo around the head of the subject on the front cover in crayon. The inside covers are in very good condition, with slight cracking and separation present at the front hinge - the back hinge is very nice. The front board is pulling slightly from the binding. The only markings present in the book is a gift inscription written on a blank page. The pages are in very good to very good-plus condition. The pages are crisp. There is no foxing on the pages. All pages are tight to the binding. The spine is in good condition with some shelf wear. This book comes from a smoke free home.
