Description: You're looking at an antique brass sconce manufactured by Faries MFG Co. in very good working condition and dating to the 1900s - 1910s. This light possesses an honest, natural patina from decades of use. The Bryant socket has a patent date of 1907 and the solid brass fitter has a patent of 1890. The pearlescent ruffled glass shade is in great shape with no chips. The final two images show lights from the Faries catalogs from 1896 and 1902. The overall condition of this lamp is very good with minor wear commensurate with age including scuffs, dings, finish wear etc; which add to the character and authenticity of the piece. This item is ready to be hardwired to you space. Measures approx 15" long including the shade. The canopy's diameter is 4.5" and the shade diameter is 5.5".
