Description: Up for sale is an Antique Iron Pontil P. BABB Soda Bottle from Baltimore, Maryland. Circa 1853-1857. The bottle is teal in color with an iron pontil scar on the base in a "Soda Shape" with embossed lettering that reads "P. BABB / BALTo" Peter Babb was in business listed as a soda bottler as a soda bottler from 1853-1857, but there are known advertisements for his products as early as 1851. The bottle has been tumbled and has a repaired lip and minor haze as seen in the photos. Otherwise the bottle is in good condition and displays nicely.
